Who We Are
Boxes of Basics Workforce Development Program
Our Workforce Development Pilot Program is designed to empower area high school students with intellectual disabilities by providing meaningful, hands-on job training in a supportive environment. In partnership with local schools and service agencies, this initiative offers students the opportunity to develop real-world skills in areas such as inventory management, organization, teamwork, and responsibility—all while contributing to our mission of serving children in need.
As a pilot initiative, the program reflects our commitment to inclusion, community collaboration, and creating pathways to employment for young people with diverse abilities. Together, we’re fostering independence, confidence, and a stronger, more compassionate community.
